Strengthening disinfection in protecting against SARS-CoV-2 – Employees in offices where UVD Robots are used feel safer

In response to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, the Unison Healthcare Group has utilized UVD Robots not just in hospitals but also in workplaces. Executive Manager of Unison Healthcare Group Albert Chung remarked, “As a business in the healthcare industry, our customers are primarily hospitals and our personnel in the field must visit hospitals as part of their work. For this reason, the infection risk in our offices is higher.” Moreover, how the pandemic develops is difficult to predict and individuals could be carrying unknown pathogens. Under such circumstances, utilizing germ-killing robots to enhance disinfecting procedures can help avoid cluster infections and ensure the sanitizing of the environment, giving employees greater peace of mind in their workplace. Chung said, “It’s not just hospitals that could use UVD Robots. Food processing plants, pharmaceutical production factories, long-term care facilities, post-partum care centers, kindergartens, hotels and such are also suitable. By keeping people within certain spaces, it’s possible to disinfect certain area with ultraviolet light.” However, remember that personnel should not be present when the robot is in use to avoid ultraviolet exposure.
