AKTORmed is a 6-degree-of-freedom robotic holding arm designed to simulate human hand movements from multiple angles while providing a stable endoscopic surgical image. With the aid of a control joystick for precise manipulation, it offers a 360˚ range of movement and a 90˚ vertical visual angle during endoscopic procedures. Gammacell series products provide hospitals and research organizations with options for high-intensity irradiation processes. The AABB recommends a dose of 25 Gy for immunocompromised patients or patients with genetic factors to avoid incidence of TA-GVHD (transfusion-associated graft-versus host disease). Decreasing the activity of leukocytes in the blood reduces the risk of TA-GVHD. Gammacells simply achieves this with an internal high-intensity Cs-137 radiation source in a mechanical design delivering ease of use and stable operation. The extremely thick integrated lead shield protects the operator from being exposed to radiation and the room it is installed in does not require any additional radiation protection and is suitable for research applications using the special manufacturer supplied chamber.

Based on advances in radiation technology and concerns over continuous exposure to the sources of radiation, the MK series provides an alternative for high-intensity radiation experiments and blood irradiation. A high kV X-ray tube using the sa¬¬¬¬me integrated lead shielding system irradiates the object, eliminating the problem of radiation source decay and also having the advantage of only emitting radiation when powered on. In addition to reducing operators’ concerns about continuous radiation from the instrument, this innovative radiation source has removed the management and storage costs of retired radiation instruments. The assemblage of the instrument is complex ,however, requiring more effort to maintain.

By 2018, the venture had successfully cultivated the market with an installed capacity of over 40 units covering all of medical centers in Taiwan. We had more than 500 doctors trained, annual surgeries performed exceeding 8,000 per year, and extensive application in seven major medical departments.
